Mark Glanville is Co-Founder of Movement HQ and has been training and coaching clients in Sydney and the UK since 2001.

Mark specialises in three-dimensional and functional movement, rehabilitation, active ageing, pre and post-natal and athletic development.

He has worked with people of all ages and stages of life - and with careers spanning from corporate executives to start-up founders, retirees, stay-at home mums and young school students. He's also seen it all - clients with varying strength, fitness and mobility levels - athletes to gym novices - and across all phases and types of injury and rehabilitation.

A Northern Beaches resident, Mark's aim is to motivate and educate people to become stronger, more athletic and increase general movement and function.

Before setting up Movement HQ, Mark saw a massive gap in the fitness industry, where “many people don't understand what they really need to be doing, feeling like they either need to go to the gym and work super hard, get out of breath, and feel sore the next day. Some people don't do enough so they may do just yoga or they may just go for a walk.

I wanted to open up a centre where we can help and guide people to know it's great to be strong, it's great to be flexible and mobile, and it's great to learn how to breathe and disengage and relax your central nervous system.

Importantly I wanted to create a community where people can exercise safely, build relationships, have fun, and feel good about what they do to improve their health and their well-being."


Mark's success with his clients led him to winning the Northern Beaches "Business Person of the Year" award in 2023.
