Jess started gymnastics at age 4 and has been inspired by movement and strength ever since. After 14 years of competitive gymnastics she progressed to coaching – and since 2018 has coached gymnastics for 2 year olds to adults. She has coaching accreditation and does professional development programs with Gymnastics Australia, and also competed in and coached Sports Aerobics.
Jess and her family have trained with Movement HQ and its co-founder Mark Glanville for many years – and now Jess is thrilled to apply her solid expertise by coaching and motivating participants in Movement HQ Conditioning, Handstands, Bodyweight Strength and Next Gen Kids’ classes.
“Being the athlete who always injured themselves, I grew a passion for the role of exercise in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
I’m in my final year of my Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science degree and hope to continue with a Masters of Physiotherapy. I love applying a skill based factor to my exercise to keep things fun and interesting!”
