Looking for fun, engaging fitness classes your child will love?
The MHQ Next Gen Program is for kids aged between 7 and 16 years to help improve their physical health, social skills and mental wellbeing.
Our aim is to set your kids up with healthy exercise habits and skills for life.
Working in small groups with others of similar age they’ll make new friends, have a fun distraction from their screens, and gain a sense of achievement from trying new things.
This program encourages participants to engage with others through a mix of fitness games, gymnastics skills, as well as strength and conditioning training.
Suitable for all fitness levels and sporting backgrounds, we will teach:
✔️ The importance of being fit and healthy
✔️ How to move efficiently and effectively
✔️ Correct technique for strength training at the gym
✔️ How to use cognitive skills and cross patterning for good movement.
From an early age, Danny O’Sullivan played everything from soccer, tennis, swimming to Gaelic football and hurling.
He’s been coaching sports teams for the past 15 years, has attended the gym since the age of 19 and has been a certified personal trainer for over 12 years.
Danny’s a dad himself and understands the importance of making fitness fun!
“I am passionate about educating people on mobility training so we can improve their movement patterns and build strength in greater ranges of motion.
I believe that everyone deserves happiness, and that training should be fun so we do it for life.”
Jess started gymnastics at age 4 and has been inspired by movement and strength since. Following 14 years in her competition leotard, she progressed her love for the sport to coaching.
Since 2018 she’s coached gymnastics for 2yr olds to adults. She does professional development programs with Gymnastics Australia and has coaching accreditation. She’s also competed and coached Sports Aerobics.
“Being the athlete who always injured themselves, I grew a passion for the role of exercise in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
I’m in my final year of my Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science degree and hope to continue with a Masters of Physiotherapy. I love applying a skill based factor to my exercise and training to keep things fun and interesting!”
“Danny pushes me to train at my best level. He has also taught me how to move my body better.”
“Danny teaches me how to use the right movements so I can exercise properly as I get older.”
“We have seen a vast improvement in the boys’ training capabilities throughout their tenure with Danny. The thorough and diligent training techniques and focus on functional movements has dramatically improved their strength and conditioning over the past 6 months!”
“The girls LOVED it today. So glad to have them enjoy MHQ as much as I do. Well done team and thanks for all you do!”
